Diptyque launches new skincare range for face

Image

Personally I’m a fan of Diptyque scents so to hear that they announced the launch of its new skincare range for the face, available in March, I was naturally very curios.

The L’Art Du Soin collection features five products that transform on contact with water or with the skin. The primary ingredient is damask rose matched with jasmine, white lily, clay, rice powder and petals or with essential floral wax.

The Infused Facial Water (£35) features vitamins, minerals and moisturising agents to cleanse, tone, moisturise and restore the skin. The Radiance Boosting Powder (£38) transforms into a foam to cleanse and revive dull complexions. The Nourishing Cleansing Balm (£44) transforms into a fine oil and then into a milky emulsion on contact with water. The Multi-Use Exfoliating Clay (£44) detoxifies the skin and is enriched with marble powder to exfoliate. The last of the products, the Protective Moisturizing Lotion (£44), boasts an SPF 15 sun protection and contains orange blossom as a powerful moisturiser.

I will be happy to try any of the above.

Elizabeth Arden has announced the launch of Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant Nighttime Miracle Moisturizer (£32), exclusively at John Lewis in February and nationwide from March.

The product offers a lavender-scented gel cream formula to calm the senses while restoring and renewing skin overnight by sealing in moisture. It additionally contains Petrolatum, Dimethicone and shea butter to smooth skin; salicylic acid to refine skin texture; and vitamin E to protect skin against the environment.

Additionally, January 1 sees the release of PREVAGE® Anti-aging + Intensive Repair Eye Serum (£95), an eye treatment designed to reduce the signs of ageing. Containing Elizabeth Arden’s Idebenone technology, the serum blends Arazine™ to reduce ageing caused by inflammation and Thiotaine to protect skin from free radical damage, which work to restore radiance and the look of natural contours around the eyes.
