Diptyque launches new skincare range for face

Personally I’m a fan of Diptyque scents so to hear that they announced the launch of its new skincare range for the face, available in March, I was naturally very curios.

The L’Art Du Soin collection features five products that transform on contact with water or with the skin. The primary ingredient is damask rose matched with jasmine, white lily, clay, rice powder and petals or with essential floral wax.

The Infused Facial Water (£35) features vitamins, minerals and moisturising agents to cleanse, tone, moisturise and restore the skin. The Radiance Boosting Powder (£38) transforms into a foam to cleanse and revive dull complexions. The Nourishing Cleansing Balm (£44) transforms into a fine oil and then into a milky emulsion on contact with water. The Multi-Use Exfoliating Clay (£44) detoxifies the skin and is enriched with marble powder to exfoliate. The last of the products, the Protective Moisturizing Lotion (£44), boasts an SPF 15 sun protection and contains orange blossom as a powerful moisturiser.

I will be happy to try any of the above.

Diptyque launches collaboration with mina perhonen

A Collaboration with minä perhonen and Diptyue

The minä perhonen brand emerged from the Japanese designer Akira Minagawa’s passion for life and imagination. The Finnish words “minä” (meaning “I”) and “perhonen” (“butterfly”) reflect a desire to create items and clothing with a poetic design, produced with a unique expertise in fabrics and printed materials. A love for craftsmanship, limited production, motifs and colours has been the foundation of a partnership bringing together minä perhonen and the house of diptyque. This collaboration has given birth to three new candles, inspired by poems written by Akira Minagawa. Each candle conjures up an infinitely delicate aromatic and visual universe …an invitation to combine refinement with a subtle use of materials.
