The Red Valentino has arrived. Swoon. Now the hunt begins for shoes to go with.

Family dressing – 20/05/13

The family day started out with taking Squeak to her first fashion editor’s lunch at Shoreditch House. Here the staff already know her, which I always think is incredible for a two year old to be on first name terms with waiters at a private members club. After lunch we take a stroll along hipster street, otherwise know as Redchurch Street, E2.

Here are a few snaps of our outfit choices for the day.

I chose a Oscar white silk crepe shirt from the young designer LF Markey . £120 the fabulous necklace is from British jewellery designer Fiona Paxton and the white mac is vintage bought from charity shop is actually PVC. Works perfectly for the 60’s trend happening at the moment and also is perfect for being wiped clean after Squeak’s baby-chinos.

H (husband) – wore an excellent green mac from Mackintosh

Squeak – nautical stripe leggings, mini Happy Socks and her silver Kickers

Today Squeak had a mega day out to. An early start to our weekend with a train ride to St. Albans to watch International superstar Dora the Explorer live show. ‘Search for the city of Lost Toys’. The concept has now been translated into an impressive array of languages from Tamil to Malay to Russian and many more.

Dora the Explorer is an American animated television series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner. Dora the Explorer became a regular series in 2000.

Family outfits consisted of:

Moi – Snoopy vintage sweat – courtesy of husband’s wardrobe, simple black leggings years old, Acne pistol boots which I recommend as a must have buy, they work with everything, available from  black stud socks from J Crew, April 77 mac, scarf Louis Vuitton (present from a very very good present) Marc Jacob bag

Squeak – Print dress from Cos, lime woolly tights, silver Kickers, pink fisherman’s waterproof which I totally recommend as it’s fantastic for wiping clean. £32 available at

H – Yellow jacket Penfield, print trousers Edwin and white classic Spring Court with a Head Porter rucksack from Japan for him and a Drifter Bag from The Great Divide
