Personally I’m a fan of Diptyque scents so to hear that they announced the launch of its new skincare range for the face, available in March, I was naturally very curios.
The L’Art Du Soin collection features five products that transform on contact with water or with the skin. The primary ingredient is damask rose matched with jasmine, white lily, clay, rice powder and petals or with essential floral wax.
The Infused Facial Water (£35) features vitamins, minerals and moisturising agents to cleanse, tone, moisturise and restore the skin. The Radiance Boosting Powder (£38) transforms into a foam to cleanse and revive dull complexions. The Nourishing Cleansing Balm (£44) transforms into a fine oil and then into a milky emulsion on contact with water. The Multi-Use Exfoliating Clay (£44) detoxifies the skin and is enriched with marble powder to exfoliate. The last of the products, the Protective Moisturizing Lotion (£44), boasts an SPF 15 sun protection and contains orange blossom as a powerful moisturiser.
nails inc. has introduced its Message in a Manicure Kit, which launches exclusively at Selfridges on November 28. Inspired by an airmail letter, the collection features 18 mini nail polishes, including the brand’s Leather effect, cobalt blue Baker Street and emerald Queen Victoria Street polishes; in addition to 150 letters and characters, which can be used to personalise nails with the contained orange stick. Message in a Manicure by nails inc. is priced at £45.
Marni has presented its new fragrance Marni Rose. The perfume was launched as a special project for the Asian consumer and worldwide to coincide with the anniversary of the global launch of Marni the fragrance.
Marni Rose contains Bulgarian rose oil , rose absolute, cardamom, Nanah mint, raspberry, violet, almond and cassis, in addition to a woody base of patchouli, cedar and musk. Both package and the bottle for the new perfume are variations on the original Marni fragrance set. The bottle top is coloured in black with a black rose signature on the bouquet. Priced at £95 for 120ml, £68 for 65ml and £48 for 30ml, Marni Rose is available exclusively at Harrods.
September 1 marks the launch of Lancôme’s new La vie est belle Eau de Parfum Légère fragrance, an interpretation of the original La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum in celebration of its anniversary.
The new scent is defined by notes of white musk and gourmand iris and features a concentration of almost 50% natural ingredients including sambac jasmine, orange blossom, patchouli essence and Iris Pallida. These are blended with tonka bean, vanilla and praline. La vie est belle Eau de Parfum Légère is priced at £55 for 50ml and £39 for a limited edition 30ml bottle.
Fashion brand Michael Kors has unveiled a new beauty range, comprising of fragrances, cosmetics and body products. The range of perfumes consists of: Sport Citrus with orange, mandarin, warm woods and white florals; Sexy Amber featuring sandalwood and musk; and Glam Jasmine. Each fragrance is priced at £38 for 30ml, £55 for 50ml and £75 for 100ml and available exclusively in Harrods from August 18.
The colour collection features lip products (priced from £21) featuring three shades of Lip Lacquer and Lip Luster (gloss); six shades of Nail Lacquer (£15) including Sporty Hint (nude) and Glam Desire (ebony brown); three shades of Bronzer (£34); and a Bronze Powder Brush.
Body products range consists of: Indulgent Body Cream (£39); Shimmer Bath Beads (£31); and Liquid Shimmer Dry Oil Spray (£39).
The Sun collection features a Liquitan Self Tanner (£18); After Sun Gelee (£18); and After Sun Lip Balm (£20). The Michael Kors make-up and body products are available from September 18 at House of Fraser.
CHANEL has introduced a new CC Cream to its range of beauty products. The Complete Correction Cream in SPF30 offers skincare benefits, make-up coverage and a natural finish, comprising of cornflower water to soothe; hyaluronic acid to moisturise; active ingredient Rejuvencia to prevent and correct signs of ageing; and mineral pigments to even out skin tone and conceal imperfections.
The product additionally contains a fruity scent, featuring top notes of white peach and water melon and a heart made up of jasmine, peony and cyclamen. CHANEL’s CC Cream is available nationwide from August 16 priced at £41. It launches into the brand’s Covent Garden boutique this Friday.
