These illustrated ceramic plates from Jimbob Art, could have been designed with Squeak in mind. A two year old who is somewhat obsessed with cake, who is prepared to blame the cat for missing cake, would love to be presented chocolate delights on these plates. There are little cups that go with the range, perfect for her baby chino.
Jimbob art is London-based designer James Ward. From his studio and shop on Columbia Road in East London, he creates a range of ceramics and illustrations centring on his expressive animal drawings. As well as his own shop, Jimbobart products and artwork is stocked in stores in the UK and Internationally, including London’s Liberty and Southbank Centre Shop and Franck et Fils in Paris. As a commercial illustrator, he has been commissioned by Lacoste, Moleskine and Etsy – who invited him to illustrate a bath tub displayed alongside his designs as part of the UK’s leading independent design festival, Clerkenwell Design Week.
